Crest Brick Slate & Tile were delighted to supply Bricklink the popular Kingston Weathered Gault for the Ropeworks residential project.
Award-winning and community focused, The Ropeworks, has brought over 650 new homes to Leith in Edinburgh, creating a vibrant new neighbourhood with a strong sense of identity. Comprising 318 private residential units and 250 affordable rental units, The Ropeworks provides a mix of townhouses and apartments for varying living requirements. Additionally, the scheme boasts open-plan living and communal park areas, with direct access to central Edinburgh and Leith’s active waterfront.
Using their wide knowledge of brick types, Bricklink suggested the Kingston Weathered Gault brick from Crest Brick Slate & Tile. A buff multi brick, the Kingston Weathered Gault is creased with a sanded finish, providing the townhouses with interest and variation. This more textured brick choice then nods to the history of the site, offering a comforting feel to the family homes within the development.
